The first time i heard this song was on a radio. Liked it the first time i heard it. Thought it is some oldie, but it isn't. It is so well sung and written. Got my eyes teary and heart wrenched when i watched the video just now. Seeing chris cry saddens me even more.

The song is written especially for chris. It is inspired by the story of his fiancee, Rodney Jerkins. Rodneys was severely injured in a car accident just before she and chris were going to marry. Chris stood by her side.

Every line of the song is so, i cant find the correct word, 触动人心. Even after listening for upteen times, it still touches me very much.

It's the best song ever.

We locked hands till we reached my house. Throughout the journey, we were silent, as if words had suddenly vanished from our minds. But, when we reached my void deck, he released my hand and said, “Joanna, I’m always here. I’m always here, if you ever need me. Here.” He pointed to his heart.

This time, I could no longer resist the urge to hug him. I wrapped my arms around him. The tough introvert Joanna was crying for the second time within a span of an hour. “Thanks” that was all I could manage to say.

Jacky released me gently and took tissue paper to wipe off my tears. “Remember this. If you ever need me and I’m not around, just wait for me. Because I’ll always be here.”

I nodded.

“I am just like the sun and you the flower. I’ll provide sunlight for you to blossom. Sometimes, clouds will prevent me from reaching you. But, you’ll know that I’m always trying to reach you. Just wait for the clouds to clear if you can’t receive my sunlight.”

I nodded. If he kept on talking, I could flood the void deck with my tears.

“Remember: To be happy, you either change the world, or you change your thinking. To be realistic, you have to change your thinking to be happy. But, me, I will change the world for you.”

I said nothing because my mouth had been choked with my sobbing.

It's been 1mth1wk4days since i was here. Longest time i mia-ed? Ok not mia to be exact. Just that i didnt had the blogging mood, nth special to blog anw (well wad is special). Duty yesterday was good. Now there is an exchange programme, whereby tp and sp will move around all the terminals, and not work only at their comfort zone. Also, there is a 1sp-to-1tp pairing system. My partner is good. Friendly and funny. Yeah tp and sp broke the ice. Broke the ice~~~~

Oh i have to say there's this really cute intern i saw. Cute and handsome. DAMN I SWEAR. Caught my eye the moment i went in the room. He sat opposite me. I saw him looking towards my direction. But dont know what he was looking at. His 神眼 was dreamy. Seem to be looking behind me, but i doubt so cause what's there to see? I thought he was looking at me i looked back. But apparently he didnt see me looking. Got to know from Huixin he was looking at my name tag. What's wrongs with my name?

Was very tempted to walk up to him and ask for his facebook. Like, 'Hi. Do you mind exchanging facebook?' something like that. But no chance. He was always with his friends. Guess if he was alone, i would really approach him. First time such strong feeling. Oh man, towards passengers also not so @$%^&!

Tried to find him on facebook but it's like 海底捞针. Near impossible. If he really was looking at my name tag (which i doubt so ):), i hope he add me on facebook.

Today is cousin outing day. :) It was good, though there was a change of plan and some hipcups.

We caught 'Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale'.

Today went out with the girls. :) It's laogong's birthday and early christmas celebration. :)

Supposedly meeting wormie at 12, we go shop around first. End up i will be late. Pushed back to 1230, i was STILL late. Partly cant decide what dress and shoe to wear. Hehe. Sry wormie~ But still, we're the earliest!!!

Today morning went back sch to discuss jap project. After that, went shopping around t1, tmall and cs for ssc christmas exchange gift. I swear my head one become two big! After walking around went home. Then later go out again, went barrage then clarke quay.

Saw many shuai ges. Like 4. 1 look like jerry yan, 1 really handsome, 1 ang moh, and 1 look like yan xing shu. The really handsome guy is really handsome, but a pity he's a bit short. Guess no one can be perfect.

For those who know what's going on now in fb, it's all peppered with cartoon dps! I LOVE! Everyone's so supportive. All change their dps.Or for the fun of it i dunno la. It's awesomeness seeing cartoon characters everywhere! Just that i cant tell who is who and got to move my mouse over to see. :p I cant decide on the cartoon i want. I changed, from hello kitty to jigglypuff to sailor moon to now mashimaro. I cant fix on one. Nvm the thing is only until mon! If not i think i will keep thinking wad to put. Heh~

What exactly is it? Yes we all know when we're seeing a couple in love, looking into each other's eyes, talking and laughing together...we recognise those signs. What if those signs are not there? Is it still called love?

I then asked a question which stemmed from my inference: "Do you love her?"

He couldn't answer. It seemed like he wasn't sure. "I care about her."

"Don't you want to go home, be in bed with her and hug her to sleep?"

"We are like 老夫老妻，结婚 50年了的那种 lor...I do my own things she don't really chup, she do her things I also never really interfere that kind..."

I mean, I know he cares. A few weeks ago, I stayed over and woke up to a breakfast tray of prata when he should've been working. He had taken mc to spend time with me. That's supposed to be a good thing, right? But these days, when we have our meals together and I look into his eyes just because, his eyes didn't seem interested. It was like he was uncomfortable with looking into my eyes. No "I feel so blessed to have you" look. No eyes-locked smile at each other. Nothing. He saw me keep staring, and finally looked at me (yes, all this while he was looking all over the place while still facing me, so he should know that I was staring all the while) and went "Yes baby? Why?"

Back to my friend. He's the one who's married, not me. And there's no...what do you call that...passion? No "Man I wanna go back to my darling as soon as I can because I haven't seen her in more than 10 hours!!!" 冲动. No "Nah I should be home. She doesn't worry about me la, but I don't want her to be home alone without me" self-disciplined concern.

While writing this post at 3am, he's online. So I'm curious again and asked this question:

Hearing the "no" made my heart wrench, not because he was a guy I had great chemistry with and whom I knew was as spontaneous as anything, but because of the fact itself that they don't do these little acts of love, made more prominent by the fact that they're newly-weds who only met 2-3 years ago.

It's painful and sad isn't it?

Even if I become 老夫老妻 with my hubby, and 两鬓发白，面黄驼背，and have wrinkled skin and saggy breasts, I would still want my other half to hold my hand when we're together, to steal a kiss when we're out, to tell me things and laugh with me, to look at me in the eye and smile, to make me feel blessed that we have come so far together and treasure me, as much as I would want to do the same for him...

One-day-NPian.

Today, went NP with bonded, soulmate and jasmine. We eat, seesee, talktalk, walkwalk, most importantly take pictures. :P 5plus soulmate, jasmine and i left while bonded waited for her friend. She got jap class. Poor thing~ Sry bonded we left first. ♥:)

Duty wasnt good today. Didnt get to see my handsome/cute angmohs/passengers. (Ok la not mine. Who's mine. sigh*) Cause i worked in public. public VS transit. H-A-I. Saw 2 though. Cant determine the countries they come from. One has very nice features. Deep eyes, sharp nose. And the other, is cool. Side view looks like jerry yan. Awww. ♥

Doing public is total boring-ness. What's more there's nothing to see. I mean nothing and 'nothing'. Heh. Ignore me~ I either walk around, or stand near the information counter. Statue-wanna-be. T.T Can sleep sia.

Short meetup

Met soulmate, bonded, peg and shimin at near afternoon. I was late. Woke up at 10+ going 11. (Meeting at 11.) Still, i took my time. (Sry~) I was the last to reach. But i guess it's alright, they ordered first without me. :/

Supposedly, peg suggested ice skating. Then said lunch at BBQ Chicken (our usual place :p) then decide where to go after that. But, i have a lot of work to do so i decided not to meet them. But because i needed to make a trip to tampines mall to get some stuff, i decided to meet them for lunch only. (I want to go ice skating one. ):) Ended up soulmate and bonded also had work to do and had lunch only. But i think the real reason is me. HAHA. (;

After lunch we walkedwalked around then parted. Soulmate, bonded and i went home while peg and shimin went town.

A short meetup, though short, but better than no meetup.

Peg asked for this meetup. She cannot make it to class outing but wants to see us. She's going back myanmar. Soulmate too. She's going back hongkong. At least still got bonded...

I want to go iceskating. Snow city. And manymany more places...

Didnt take many pictures. Seemed like im the only one interested. :/ Took a few though.

Bonded was angry soulmate and i took without her, and demanded i delete the photo. Haha. (:

Second day of duty today. Tiring. But overall better than the first. When i first wore the vest, i felt kinda ugly. But now, it doesnt bother me anymore. (What bothers me now is the super duper ugly office pants. -_-) I walk around naturally with it, and with confidence. Confidence. Though approaching passengers and offering my help, rather than them asking me, is very much a challenge for me. I will try to open myself up. Yes i can.

Three cool australian passengers came up to me and my friend, and asked, 'Excuse me, do you know where accepts australian currency? We're hungry.' Aww. So cute. 'We're hungry.' heart melts* When i met them again, one of the guys smiled at me. Aww. I smiled at him first though. Smile begets smile? Hmm

When work gets boring, spoting handsome passengers is a way to entertain yourself. But i do that all the time.

Today was a long day. Went out with mangteng, anita, shas, and ginia to various places. Orchard and clarke quay area. If i didnt left out any places. Was for project and not gaigai. Haha. We're doing a project, and our grp is doing on 'nightlife is singapore'.

Met up with ginia first, at sommerset mrt. Im just nice on time. :) We walked around, then bought muffin and puff from Icing Room, then sat down and eat. Hehe. After that met up with shas. She was late. After the 3 of up met up, we went to find anita and mangteng. Then we started our schedule. :) There was some unplanned problems though. Like the heavy rain. Got us all wet. Cant rmb all that happened, so i shall let the pictures do the talking. But the pics are with anita, so i will upload them once i kope them. Wait for me ok?

Oh, i want to say, clarke quay is really beautiful. I want to change my thinking that esplanade is so far the best place for dating. Now clarke quay top the list. Haha. Walking in clarke quay makes me feel i've grown up. Haha. But somehow, very unsafe. Like anytime will get touched. Molested. Lol. Sry, pardon me.

I went to pub for the first time in my life. (Yes you can call me noob.) Anita, mangteng and i managed to smuggled in. Haha. Quickly went in when the person went away. Shared lychee mojito with mangteng. It's a cocktail. While anita had sex on the beach. It's vodka. I prefer hers. Going to a pub is a total new experience for me. Not bad~ Though the super loud music and strong lighting got me dizzy. My eardrum can burst lor. Heart can drop out. Haha. I feel the environment's kinda messy. So wads next, clubbing? Haha.

Reached home at 12+. Chionged man. No train, no bus, no money, i was so gan chiong. 热锅上的蚂蚁. ): At last train to cityhall, then bugis with mangteng. She helped me got a taxi and sent me off before she go. Thanks laogong.♥ Oh, and thanks the kind uncle who was willingly to drive me, after mangteng told him i was left with only 15bucks. The fare totaled to 17.60. Grateful~ First time so late take taxi home alone. So dangerous, i scared lor. Tell laogong ltr the uncle drive me go sell. Haha.

First day of work at the airport

Today is my first day of work at the airport. It was rather awesome. Though there was this bit of 不安 and 担心 before work. But well, things went smooth. :) It was kinda boring though.

Break was(is) so short. 20 mins only. By the time i met up with si en, go look for food, not much time left already. Few mins only. We had to chiong. ): Burger king so long queue, texas chicken also. T.T End up,

only had 11 pieces of hotdog balls for dinner. ):

I enjoy working at the airport. I get to see and meet different people from all walks of life. And see handsome faces. Hahaha. The sense of achievement after serving one passenger feels great. 'Thank you.', 'Good girls.', 'Good job.' from them simply melts my heart. And the smiles they give, the gratitude they show. And when they see you again, they recognise you, they smile at you.

Today, i went out with xiong and bonded.We went to marine barrage.

Xiong came to pick me after his sch ended and after picking bonded, at about 1:30PM. We went to refill the car tank and to cheers to get some tibits then mac to get some food. Then off we go to marina barrage!

current mood: a little sleepy

Today's a tiring day! So much of walking around in the airport. Today's the last training. Overall both sessions were fine.

The CYA seniors are very friendly and nice. Fellow CYAs too. They are all very nice people. :) My greatest achievement after having attended trainings and QSM, other than now being more knowledgeable about the airport (though i can't remember all that was said), is that i've met great people and made new friends. Ever heard of the saying, 'There are no strangers in this world, only friends you have yet to meet.'? Yes. Strangers are friends waiting to happen. Affinity brings people together. The rest is in your hands already.

I got my airport pass today. Yay. :D The pass looks something like

If you're wondering what it's for, it's gives the holder the permission to gain access into restricted areas in changi airport. For my case, baggage claim hall/arrival transit and departure Transit. These 2 places only. I thought all. :( But not 1 but all 4 terminals so ok la. Hehe so coolll. Restricted areas!

CYA orientation

Today, i went for Changi Orientation Programme at Changi Airport. Overall was nice. Pleasant. :) I learnt more about Changi Airport and made new friends. :)

I shall talk about the facilitator(or whom you call that) first. He's a very nice man, name David Anthony. Don't call him Anthony, that's his father's name. He said you won't want to call a dead man. Haha. You can call him 大卫. (He's an indian fyi. Haha) He's fun, humorous(which makes the programme lively), and very gentlemanly. He helped girls take chairs when they had no seats. (See this guys!) Not only girl, but guy too. He's also very polite and appreciative. Heard him say thank you, i appreciate... stuffs like that almost all the time. Nice to have him as my facilitator. :)

Next up, my new friends. Let me introduce, they're Sheila, Sarita, and Haziyah. :)

Initially i thought Sheila is arrogant, unfriendly and fierce. She looks so. But after i got to know her, i found out she's actually quite nice. :) (Looks are deceiving.) She actually recognised im from 03. ._. You know, the hall was so cold i can freeze. Shivered man. (Should have brought my jacket argh.) She's so nice as to ask me why i didn't bring my jacket, and remind me to bring next week. Another thing, we actually put the same choices of courses. It's just so coincidental. A 'nice to meet you' from her was warming. :)

Now Haziyah. It's amazing how both of us actually like (i love okay) fahrenheit and show! When she asked me fahrenheit i was like YESYESYES!!!, omg same! Im actually quite suprised a malay likes fahrenheit. (What do i think, can't malays like fahrenheit?) Im not being racist okay! Anyway, then i asked her which one of them she likes and she said Jiro! Wa! She asked me if i want to go airport to fetch them. (I didn't know they're holding concert in s'pore hmms.) Then later she popped out show, i was like YAYAYA! Omg la! 志趣相投!

Sarita i got nothing to talk about so yea skip her.

Friends you befriend at orientation most likely will only be 泛泛之交. In the future will only be hi bye kinda thing. There can be many reasons to this, one which is because everyone have their own friends already, their own cliques. This led me think of i actually managed to blend in nicely with christy's clique back then in sec 2. You know, it's actually quite hard to get yourself blend into a group of friends because they already have a certain level of friendship. Im exception. I blend in just so nicely, and im glad. :)

Hmm, today's a gd start for cya. Next week 2 days training. Wonder if Mr 大卫 is the facilitator. Will be nice to have him. Kinda looking forward to the training. :) Long day though. 9am-5pm.

I will enjoy my time as a changi youth ambassador. :)

I want that.

Holidays are here. Im thinking whether to work. Since the holiday's kinda long and i am free. Feel like going back pop to work. (Is going back the correct word.) I've signed the resignation form. 1) Dunno can go back ma. 2) Even if can go back, manager might not be hiring. 3) Even if can go back and manager hiring, no partimers working. ):

Those days when all partimers worked together were great. Working and having fun together. Slacking together. Going for lunch breaks together. Sweeping and moping together. Going for supper together. Im sure there's more of those great times. That was my first job, and i think it'll be the best. I still remember how pathetic i was on my first day of job. I knew no one, except zhihao. I went on lunch break alone. That time i had gastric pain or something, i just grabbed a bread. I was alone and so the 1hr break was too long for me. I called my mum. But as days went by, i made friends. And that 1 hr is no longer enough.

Should i try and ask if i can go back?

Hmm. If decided to work and pop is out, might go find other jobs. Welllllllllllllll. See how first ba. If not working most probably will be rotting at home.

I liked zoe status and she'll have to tell me the first 4 things that comes to her mind when she see, hear or say my name. And she wrote expensive, tall, vain and friendly. Expensive, tall and friendly i can understand. But vain? Haha. I asked her and she replied 'YESSSS LOL'. Haha. I wonder what makes her say so. Do i show acts of vainness? I don't think im vain in sch. Haha. Well, but i admit the fact that im vain. Im sure soulmate and bonded agree too. Haha.

Had a ghost story session with jolene, mich, ginia, zh, q and mt at the library today. Was awesome. =D Though my perception of teletubies (lol) changed :/ and i got freaked out at one point of time. T.T Somebody (i forgot who) said mirror shouldn't face the bed. I was like O.O COS MY MIRROR FACE MY BED. Plus q (i think) said go shift (as in the furniture) which freaked me more. T_T But then later i found out it actually meant mirror facing the bed in which you can see yourself in the reflection. *phew Dx*

Tmr's last day of sch and it's hoooooooooolidayy. =) Aren't you happy? Those having same holiday as me. =)

(1) fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(8) whatever: Is a women's way of saying STUFF YOU!

(9) don't worry about it, i got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response, refer to #3.

* Send this to the men you know, to warn them about arguments they can avoid if they remember the terminology.
